Ch\u00e2teau du Clos Luc\u00e9, Amboise<\/h1>\n\n

The Clos Luc\u00e9<\/strong> residence, formerly known as the Manoir du Cloux<\/strong>, was built in the XV\u1d49 century. It has been listed as a Monument Historique<\/strong> since 1862. Located in the heart of the Loire Valley<\/strong>, in downtown Amboise<\/a>, it is notably famous for having hosted Leonardo da Vinci<\/strong> for three years. Invited to France by Fran\u00e7ois I in 1516, the artist worked for the king as an architect and engineer.<\/p>

It was here that the famous Italian produced his works of art and inventions, until his death in 1519.<\/p>
