Thechurch of Saint Louis<\/strong>, built in 1666 at the request of Louis XVI, was enlarged and restored over a long period of time to give the result we know today. For centuries, this historic monument was home to some of France’s most noble families. The interior features 3 altars with different functions, a sublime tapestry and a large nave with fleurs-de-lis. <\/p>\n\n

Chambord vineyard<\/h3>\n\n

The vineyard, located about a kilometer from the ch\u00e2teau, offers enthusiasts 3 different wines. One red and two whites. These blends are made from 5 grape varieties: romorantin, which produces a pure white wine; pinot noir and gamay, which make up the red; and a white combining orbois and sauvignon. These Loire Valley wines<\/strong> are the result of a real ecological, heritage and historical project. <\/p>\n\n\n
