In the high season (from 7th July till 30th August), a team of animators will present a program of different activities for children between 4 and 13 years old (approximately). So if you wish a great holiday for your children on a 5-star family campsite near Blois, campsite La Grande Tortue is for you ! Apart from the animation program established by our team, shows will be organised. Various shows for everybody : the kids and adults.Come and enjoy these moments in company of real and talented artists. Since 2011 we work with a dutch animation company « Topanimation », who finds us a competent team of trilingual animators. The activities are organised everyday except on the Saturday. Covered and heated swimming pool The waterpark of the campsite near Blois is open from April till September. The kids will have lots of fun on the water playground, in the paddling pool with it’s giant mushroom, while the older kids go down one of the three waterslides. Enjoy the outside whirlpool or a session in the sauna ( to book at the reception : 8,00€/session) Depending on the weather, the heated swimming pool will be covered or not if the sun and the temperature are nice enough. The swimming pool is accessible for disabled persons. Playground A big playground for children of all ages is located in the center of the campsite. The children can have fun on the trampolines of the bouncy castle* and the bravest can climb till the top of the 7 meter high pyramid. Ofcourse they will make new friends on the campsite and they could do a ping-pong tournament or play football or basketball on the multi-sport field. Next to the sportfield is a « boulodrome » where you can play pétanque with you friend or maybe participate on a tournament with the animators. For the youngest we have a playground specially for them (from 2 till 6 years old).
